Delete your account and your data

You can delete your TarsisVan account whenever you like, straight from the app. It is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to do it from the app

More → Settings → Account & subscription → Danger Zone → Delete account

1. Open TarsisVan and tap More on the bottom bar.
2. Go to Settings and choose the Account & subscription category.
3. Scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the warning. Your data will be deleted and the request for final deletion will be sent.

What gets deleted

Everything linked to your account: your profile, vehicle, maintenance, checklists, journal and expenses, family profile, favourites, and the reviews and photos you have published. Also the session and the data saved on your phone. Personal documents and accident reports exist only, encrypted, on your phone, so they disappear when you delete the app’s data.

What is kept anonymised

Area reports and star ratings for areas and places are unlinked from your account and can no longer be traced back to you. They are kept so as not to alter the score other users see.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to us at [email protected] from the email address linked to your account (if you gave one) and we will help you complete the deletion.
